In Windows 11, every time I click on a window with the cursor for the purpose of grabbing it to move it to some place on the screen, it automatically goes to a full screen. And it does not matter if I click on the top or side or anywhere else. If I double click, it will go to a smaller window, but it's just about impossible to just grab the window and move it. This is further exacerbated when trying to put two or more windows on the screen for the purpose of dragging a file over to another folder. I did not have this problem with Windows 10. Please help or reference me to another site with the answer. thank you. Brad

Hello, thank you for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A.

Please try disabling snap layouts in the Windows settings menu to see if it resolves the issue.

    1. Navigate to Start > Settings > System > Multitasking.
    2. Turn off the toggle for Snap Windows.

You can also go to Control Panel > Ease of Access > Ease of Access Center > Make the Mouse easier to Use > Uncheck 'Prevent Windows from being automatically arranged when moved to the edge of the screen' > Click Apply and Ok.

Let me know if you still need more help.
