how can i import a rdp file in the windows app for ios without setting /adding PC up from the beginning

    Hello,

    You just need to save your rdp file to your iOS device, find it in your folder and it will open in remote desktop directly.

    On iOS 18, I had to use a combination of the other two answers. I had to download the RDP file, from my downloads folder I had to SHARE it to the Windows App to open it. Then in the Windows App settings I turned on "Always import RDP files", and it saved it there for me.
