Complaining about what? You haven't mention it.
And with that less on informations I don't have any idea (how could I).

Greetings.
"Percentage of work tables available from the work table cache is low (below 90% for 5m)"
We use a product called Zabbix for alerting. Not my fav, but we've had it for a couple years now with no real complaints. As of this morning Ive started getting the alert above on a critical OLTP SQL 2022 box. But heres the catch... so no user complaints, no bad RAM counters, no long running queries, no open transactions, nothing in the sql log, stats were updated last night, etc.
Perfmon confirms what Zabbix is complaining about. However, based on all this not sure where to go from here? Any ideas?

Thanks for posting in the Microsoft Q and A Platform.This particular performance counter is not very useful when reviewed on its own. Even when investigating TempDB activity, it does not provide clear or actionable guidance. If the rest of the environment looks normal and there are no performance symptoms, a low value here does not indicate a problem.
@Henrik Ræder Clausen, the same interpretation applies. This metric should not be evaluated in isolation, and it generally does not require action unless it appears together with other performance indicators.
