How can I transfer my Skype international number to teams

I have received unacceptable response from Teams support that cannot port over a Microsoft Skype

international number to Teams account. This is ridiculous since I received this number from Skype/Microsoft originally. It is your number and you cannot move it? This needs to be done ASAP, this is an important business number and I must be able to keep it.

    I understand that you want to port out your Skype number to Teams.

    Please know that you would not be able to port out your Skype number to Teams free as that option is not available. You can only port out your Skype number to a different service provider.

    You will be able to receive calls on your Skype number on Teams free for the remainder of your subscription if your subscription is still active.
