I have a Skype number. I have a request to porter in the phone number to another provider, butMicrosoft Teams/Skype have not responded. I need a few more days before it can be completed. I want to keep my phone Skype number. How do I communicate with my request to Microsoft/Skype? I have tried many numbers, including 1 800 642 7676, but I am just going around in a loop with no results and nu human reply. Does anyone know how to resolve keeping my number and being able to porter in to another provider in time?

    Hello Agneta,

Thanks for reaching out to Microsoft Q&A forum support.

From your description, I understand that you want to be able to port out your Skype number to a different service provider. I will be assisting you with a few steps to do that.

In order for you to be able to port out your Skype number to a different service provider, you need to reach out to the intending service provider and let them know. They will request for a few details about the Skype number from you and then they will proceed with your request.

Kindly refer to the link below for more information about Skype number:

    I hope this helps.

    Best regards,
