Surface Duo 2 - Malfunctioning hinge

Good afternoon everyone,

Over the past months, I have been experiencing some problems with the hinge of my Surface Duo 2 device. Unfortunately, today, it stopped working completely. Whenever I want to fold the phone, I hear some cracking noises. It cannot be open flat, and I am required to move it around to have it open.

I would like to have this fix. Does anyone have a recommendation for this?

I already talked to Microsoft support, and they won't repair it. Instead, they offered an exchange order for 777 euros, which includes a refurbished device with only 90 warranty. I got this phone around end of March 2022, so the warranty has expired.

    The problem has not been solved. And as I mentioned in the post, I already talked to Microsoft Support and that was their only solution.
