Thanks for the additional info. You have a Surface Laptop 7 which is not part of the "Pro" line. The Pro line is a tablet with a detachable keyboard.
Yes, I see on the Canon site that there is no ARM processor driver listed for your printer. And it appears the generic printer driver provided by Microsoft did not work for you when you attempted to install it, instructions as per https://support.usa.canon.com/kb/s/article/FAQ100604 which I mentioned above.
Unfortunately, there isn't anything else I can do to get this working for you. I suggest that you file a problem report in feedback https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/send-feedback-to-microsoft-with-the-feedback-hub-app-f59187f8-8739-22d6-ba93-f66612949332 and explain that Canon does not have an ARM driver for the Pixma 8750 and the generic driver does not work.
