Surface Book 2 knocks out wifi router

When my Surface Book 2 wakes from sleep (and thus connects to my wifi router), it crashes my router completely. The router then cold boots, during that time there's obviously no network and internet.
This is very bad.
I rolled back the driver to the previous version, but the problem persists.
Any suggestions?
