'Action Not Allowed' error

Hi,

I'm trying to connect to news sites using my work Outlook on my mobile. I used to click on the link (say, to FT.com), it would take me to Edge where it would offer me the option of switching accounts to my personal account, and would then show me the article on my personal account. However recently I've been getting the error message below:

"Action Not Allowed. Your organization does not allow you to open any transferred data in this app."

If I search directly on my Edge work account (say, bbc.co.uk), it gives me the option to switch accounts, before taking me to the site on my personal account. However if I click on the link from my work Outlook it gives me the errror message above.

I'm logged into both my work and personal accounts on Edge.

My tech team at work don't seem to have a fix for it, so I thought I'd try here. Please let me know if you have a solution for this, or have seen something similar.

Thanks.

P.S. I'm using an iPhone 11 with iOS 14.6.

    Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

In this scenario, we would suggest you to uninstall and reinstall the app on your iPhone and check.

If the issue persist, we would value your feedback or suggestions based on your experience using Edge. You can certainly help us improve the features by sharing your feedback. You can: Open Microsoft Edge. Click on the Settings & More Ellipsis (…) on the right hand corner and then, select Help & Feedback and select Send Feedback.
