I searched and don't have much hope, but the previous responses to others were about a year old so here goes.
Is there a way to reduce the vertical height of the tabs and the vertical spacing between bookmarked lines in favorites? I want to maximize the space for web pages and minimize the user interface space while keeping the tabs and the address line. For bookmarks I want to minimize the need for scrolling. I don't want tabs/bookmarks with vertical padding. I know I could use F11 but I still want to keep my list of tabs easily available.
If not:
Is there any equivalent to the userchrome.css that Firefox has where you can control the tab height? Or some variation of that? If not that a script?
Edit, adding additional info and hopefully better description of what I am looking for
I want to maximize the space available for web pages. I am not using vertical tabs and have my tabs across the title page. I would like to reduce the height of the tabs so that the title bar doesn't need to be as tall, think Firefox Compact Mode. I am not concerned about the width of the tabs, the width will change depending on the number of open tabs.
For the Favorites menu with the book marks I was wanting to minimize the height of the bookmark lines so they don't take up so much space in the list. Just from looking at the list I am guessing if the height was minimized the favorites could probably hold 1.5 times more bookmarks in the same space making it less likely that you will need to scroll while showing more bookmarks at the same time.
