"read aloud" function of Edge browser on android doesn't work

I enjoy using Microsoft Edge for android very much except one defect within it: "read aloud" function seems fail to work.

After selecting "read aloud" function, and tapping the "play" button on mid-top, I hear no voice and the button return to black in colour from grey (which means the browser is responding).

Besides, after tapping the setting button on up-left corner, a dialog box with title "voice option" shows up. Though reading speed can be adjusted here, there're no "Voice" options showing up in the menu when I tapped the "menu" button. I think it should show up different voice options, including different people reading in different languages, as what's on Edge for windows PC, if the browser works well. However, there's no voice options.

Could you help me figure out what's wrong with Edge and how I fix it?

I'm looking forward to this feature on my phone very much. Thank you in advance!

    I understand that you’re facing issues when using Read Aloud feature in Microsoft Edge browser on your Android Phone. I will certainly try my best to assist you with the issue.

    I tried to reproduce your query on my Android device and I was able to use the Read Aloud feature normally. One of the things that you can try is to make sure the latest version of Microsoft Edge is installed, i.e. 45.05.4.5036.

    However, you may also want to try re-installing the browser and check if the feature is working fine.

    i am sure, i am using the latest version,  45.11.4.5118.

    but it is the exactlly the same issue, 

    and i have tried many many versions  and reinstalled again and again, but till is the same problme, and also, i have tried OPPO, VIVO, HuaWei, all of them have the same problem.

    exactlly same  problme as JohnnyZheng4 discribed.
