I do not recommend Real Player which is way too bloated and as a result can cause issues. Instead I'd use the much leaner VLC which is the world's most popular free open-source player, and can play those file types.

When you install VLC if you don't want it to be your default player because you prefer Windows Media Player or another, just install it at all defaults and it will pick up the file types that others cannot play including this one.

After installing VLC you can try opening those files to see if it opens on it's own to play them. If not then go into VLC and choose Open from the File tab to browse to and open the Real Jukebox files.

Keep me posted on your progress as I will be here to help until the case is resolved.

Hi CarrmasDad. I'm Greg, an installation specialist, 10 years awarded Windows MVP, and Volunteer Moderator, here to help you.

That's a proprietary file for Real Media Jukebox, playable on Real Player bloatware or Video Lan (VLC) which is the world's most popular free player:

    More about it here:

I hope this helps. Feel free to ask back any questions and keep me posted. If you'll wait to rate whether my post resolved your problem, I will keep working with you until it's resolved.

    Hi again -

I'd imagine you need to adjust the sound on the individual players.

How you can play songs on a DVD depends on how it was originally created, as shown here:

    https://www.digitaltrends.com/how-to/how-to-rec...

You can also right click the DVD in File Explorer and choose Explore to see if you can choose the songs there.

    Hi Greg,

Well I  did the PowerPoint web etc. and got the following Snip.   I opened the email that had the pps file and drug it to the      "       and paste it and it worked fine.    I want to know if I can convert the file to another ext. and if so how and which one you would recommend!  I want to share/forward the email to others.  I also want to save it, but be able to open it without having to go thru the OneDrive etc.

    Many Thanks!

You can convert PPS files to PDF or many other formats (listed at bottom) from this online conversion site:
