Hi DSD27,
There isn't a way to refresh the newsfeed manually. If you are on WiFi, temporarily disable it and see if the newsfeed updates while on cellular.

This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
On the iPhone, there's no way to refresh the start page/new tab which have the newsfeed, the only way to do it is to completely close the browser and reopen it. Or am I missing something? I'm still seeing news from 7 days ago, only the wallpaper updates daily by itself.

I have background sync disabled for celular data, for all apps. But I've used Edge with celular data and it didn't update. Anyways, it shoudl work on WiFi.
This is a very basic issue that should be easy to fix.
I would like you to uninstall the app and reinstall it and see if that solves the problem.
