    Hi, Tamilselvan Sivasankar

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

Uninstalling Edge via command doesn't work anymore, so I can't provide you with a valid command, and Edge being an important component of Windows, it's not recommended that you try to uninstall it.

Can I ask if you are having any problems updating? Is it possible to provide the error code so that I can analyze your problem?

I am looking forward to receiving your reply.

    Best Regards

    Hi, Tamilselvan Sivasankar

I apologize for the late reply. May I ask if the version of Edge you are using is an enterprise version or for organizational use, because usually users don't exist many old versions of Edge.

I am looking forward to your reply.

    Hi,

What is the operating system version of the computer you are using?

The 9X version of Edge has been more than a year ago. Theoretically, if you are using the personal consumer version of Edge, you can upgrade the version through the update that comes with the Edge Settings. Have you tried it?

Regarding the Powershell command you tried, this was an earlier command that worked and is no longer valid.

The fastest way to update Edge is to download the latest Edge version and install it directly. The links below contain the download pages for the consumer and business versions of Edge:

    Download Microsoft Edge

    Download Edge for Business (microsoft.com)

If there is anything unclear, please feel free to let us know, thank you for your patience and understanding.

    Regards,

Martin, everyone on the face of this planet knows that's BS, so why even type such a lie? It's obviously not a crucial component of Windows in any way shape or form, so either don't reply or write the truth.
