Hi, I'm Elise, a fellow user like yourself and I'd be happy to help with your issue.

Does it work if you don't force quit? As far as I understand about this feature it simply kills the process for Edge, so it won't give it a chance to run these cleanup routines on shut down.

    Kind Regards,

    Elise

Hi Elise, thank for your reply

If i don't force quit, Edge still works when mac sleep, and i dont like that. My other web browsers also force quit when I put the mac to sleep, and they don't have the same problem as edge.

And this problem just started happening 2-3 days ago, before that it was normal.

    Thanks

If it was working prior to this with the same settings it suggest something may have changed with the way this is handled in Edge. It might be worth uninstalling and reinstalling the latest version from the Edge website
