MSN Weather on Android - Not Signing In

I recently downloaded a copy of the MSN Weather app onto my phone (a Samsung Galaxy A71), mostly in order to access the e-tree program when I'm away from my machine, but I noticed an issue: when I attempt to log into my Microsoft account in the app, the wheel spins but it still never logs into my account at all. I've tried clearing out all my data in the app, and both trying to login using my saved credentials (as I have Office as well installed on there) and signing in 'manually'. Can anyone confirm if this is a known issue, or what may be going on?

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

    Unfortunately, we are experiencing the exact same issue as you.

    We are unable to sign into our Microsoft account in the MSN Weather app, it is always loading in a circle.

    We noticed that the latest version of the app was released in July 2022.

    Outdated application code is at the core of this phenomenon.

    We have submitted feedback on this issue via the "Feedback" option available in the "Settings" of the MSN Weather app.

    If convenient for you, you may also submit feedback on the MSN Weather application.

    For me, this issue was fixed after installing the 22 Dec 2023 update.
