Bing maps not displaying correctly on Edge Android

I recently started using Edge for Android, to test it as a browser. I like it, although it made me realise how much I like having the address bar at the bottom of the window in the mobile app.

When I access Bing maps, ironically, the map/page does not display correctly. Some is of the edge (pun not intended). Worst though, it's that I see none of the buttons for changing layers, getting directions etc.

Any ideas?

    Dear Ricardo Randall,

Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Community regarding the display issues you're experiencing with Bing Maps on the Edge browser for Android. I understand how important it is to have a seamless browsing experience, and I'm here to help you troubleshoot this issue.

    1. Clear Cache and Cookies: Open the Edge browser, go to Settings > Privacy and Security > Delete browsing data, and select "Cached images and files" and "Cookies and site data." Then, tap on "Clear data."
    2. Test in InPrivate Mode: Open an inPrivate window and access Bing Maps to see if the issue occurs there as well. This can help determine if extensions or cache are affecting the display.
    3. Try a Different Network: Network issues can affect how web pages render. Try using a different Wi-Fi network or switching to mobile data to see if it resolves the issue.

If after trying the above steps the issue still persists, could you provide screenshots to give me a better understanding of the problem? This will help me diagnose the issue more accurately.

In the meantime, you can also try accessing Bing Maps on your PC to see if the content appears cropped there as well, which will help me determine whether it’s specific to the Android browser.

    Best Regards,

Martin | Microsoft Community Support Specialist
