Why is there a black border around my desktop?

I started my laptop. opened Microsoft edge and there was a black border all around the screen.

    Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

    That usually indicates a problem with the Resolution or aspect ratio set on your screen, is this only happening with the Edge browser or with everything in Windows?

    Right click your Desktop and select Display Settings.

    Please provide a photo of your screen showing that window and the black border you see on your screen.
