I'm struggling to access certain webpages- the internet connection seems fine, and for example, gmail will open, but any links from gmail won't connect. I've checked firewall settings and microsoft edge is enabled. Any advice would be much appreciated!

Good day, thanks for your question. I am glad to assist you today. Is this only happening in Edge? You can also check and try this on a different browser to isolate if this is only happening in there.

    Regards,

    Paul R.

Hi Paul, thanks for the reply. I've tried it on google chrome as well. So for example, natwest website loads, but then it stops loading when I try to log in.

Have you also tried a non-chromium based browser like Firefox? You can also try to changes the DNS by following the below.

    • Go to Network & Internet Settings > Change Adapter Options.
    • Right click your connection and then click Properties.
    • Select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and then click Properties.
    • Check Use the following DNS server addresses and input the following and then try it again afterwards.

    Preferred: 8.8.8.8

    Alternate: 8.8.4.4 (Google DNS)
