On Apple OS, I am trying to open several (tens) pdf tabs and keep them open. However, after a certain amount, it will not let me open anymore PDF files. It shows me the message couldn't load plug in.

For my work, it is helpful to keep PDF files open to refer to later. However, I reached a limit where, after a certain amount, Microsoft Explorer won't open any more PDF files. I got the message saying I couldn't load the plug-in. Is there a workaround?

    Hello TParkev.

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

Regarding to your information I assume that you have some issues on viewing the PDF files.

May I ask which Apple device you are using? We were unable to reproduce your issue on our Intel-based Mac testing machine.

If you are able, you can try installing a Canary version.

Then try opening a PDF using both the Canary version and the regular version to see if the restriction still exists. It seems that there

may be some restrictions related to the Edge core. If the Canary version works fine, we suggest that you report this issue through Edge.
