Hi everyone,

First time posting in this community, so please forgive me if I posted in the wrong section or if I may have done anything else wrong.

So my issue: every time I launch Microsoft Edge browser, on any computer or tablet of mine, this specific page opens every... single... time!
Amazon Link to Plastic Straw Rugs

That link opens every time I launch this browser and I cannot seem to figure out how to disable it or turn get rid of it. I have never even looked at Plastic Straw Rugs on amazon, so I am quite baffled.

Please help me get rid of this issue of mine!

Thank you,

— Jon

    Hello

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

Regarding the hijacking of your browser's homepage.

Here are some possible causes and solutions.

    1. Check Startup Pages:
      1. Open Microsoft Edge.
      2. Click on the three horizontal dots in the top-right corner to open the menu.
      3. Go to "Settings" and scroll down to the "On startup" section.
      4. Make sure the setting is set to "Open a specific page or pages" and check the listed pages. If the unwanted page is listed, remove it.
    2. Reset Edge Settings:
      1. In the Edge menu, go to "Settings."
      2. Scroll down and click on "View advanced settings."
      3. Under "Privacy and services," click on "Restore settings to their default values."
    3. Check for Unwanted Extensions:
      1. Open Edge and click on the three horizontal dots.
      2. Go to "Extensions" and check if there are any extensions that you didn't install. Disable or remove them.
    4. Clear Browsing Data:
      1. Clear your browsing data, including cookies and cached images/files.
      2. In Edge, go to "Settings" > "Privacy, search, and services" > "Choose what to clear."
      3. Select the appropriate options and click on "Clear."
Disclaimer: Your browser automatically saves temporary internet files to help pages load faster. Clearing this cache will sometimes fix website issues. Please back up all your personal files first, such as Favorites, to ensure you do not lose data.

If there is anything not clear or I can't understand your problem, please do not hesitate to let me know.

    Best Regards
