Welcome! When I click the Copilot button in Edge, the browser freezes and crashes, even though everything works correctly in the work profile. This happens at the moment when the keyboard is called. Video: https://filebin.net/v1vc2ktrz6r26alx

Good day, thanks for your question. I am glad to be able to provide assistance to you today. May I know if this issue has started after a recent update on Edge and is it the same even if you try to uninstall and reinstall Edge?

    Regards,

    Paul R.

No, it started back when Copilot had an old interface (I just didn't pay attention to it at the time and used a different browser). And so yes: I have already reinstalled the browser several times - it does not help.

I've also cloned Edge with applications like Parallel Space and everything works there, but not in regular Edge.

What is noteworthy: if I install Canary, Dev and Beta builds of Edge - there is the same situation.

Sorry to know about this and in this case, the best thing to do is to send a feedback to the team that is working on Edge to let them know and have them investigate on this issue and have it be corrected on a upcoming or future dated update and you can cascade it by tapping the 3 dots or the 3 lines and then Help and feedback.

Alternative, you can also check if you will still remember on which version was this working properly and you can download it at the link below.

I can't install the version that worked on as it hasn't worked for a long time. Regarding the bug: yesterday I was forced to reset my phone to factory settings and luckily - it helped! Copilot now opened in Edge, however, this morning Edge crashes again. I don't know what happened overnight while the phone was on standby. But the fact that this is an Edge bug - I'm 100 sure.

But unfortunately, Microsoft support mnn did not respond to several of my messages.
