Thank you for your feedback. I understand that you want to delete your search history in the Android version of Microsoft Edge. Here are some solutions:
Method 1:
Launch the Microsoft Edge app on your phone.
Tap “···” (More options) on the bottom toolbar.
Select “History” (clock icon).
Delete specific records
Long press the search keyword or URL you want to delete.
Tap the trash can icon that appears or check the box and tap “Delete.”
Method 2:
Open Edge, tap “...” → select ‘Settings’
Go to “Privacy and security” → select “Clear browsing data”
Check the following options:
✓ Browsing history
✓ Cookies and website data (optional)
✓ Cached images and files (optional)
Tap “Clear now” → confirm the action
Note: Selecting “All time” will completely clear all history
Permanently disable search history (recommended setting)
Go to Settings → Privacy and Security
Enable the following features:
“Always use strict tracking protection”
“Clear browsing data when you sign out” (automatically delete history)
In “Address Bar Settings,” disable:
“Show search and site suggestions”
Advanced tip: Use InPrivate mode
Click the toolbar “...” → Select “New InPrivate Tab”
All searches in this mode will not save history
Enable shortcut: Long-press the Edge icon → Select “New InPrivate Tab”
Android systems automatically sync Edge history to Microsoft accounts. To completely delete it, perform the following steps simultaneously:
Edge on PC → Settings → Privacy → Clear Microsoft Sync Data
Disclaimer: Back up your important data before performing this operation.
I look forward to your feedback.
