Microsoft Edge on iPad, shortcut doesn‘t work

Hello Microsoft,

recently I‘m using Edge on iPad. The app is good. But seems not all shortcuts are working.

For example, key combination: command + L. This is supposed to put cursor into URL address and make typing possible. But it‘s not working.

Please fix this bug. Thank you!

Best regards

T.

    Hi

    Welcome to the Microsoft community.

We are unable to reproduce your problem on our Mac. Can other Command shortcuts be used normally? If so, could you please test whether the same problem occurs with other versions of Edge, to see if it is a specific version issue or a general problem. Afterwards, please use the feedback function of Edge to directly report this problem to the developers and wait for them to fix the issue.

    Hello Tommy,

this problem has nothing to do with Mac.

This problem is on iPad and it‘s using the same app as iPhone, which uses iPadOS or IOS.

A possible reason for it is that the compatibility between keyboard and software weren‘t well made during developing/testing. This problem has been submitted through the internal feedback on Edge. Nothing appears changed.

Would be glad to see/hear progress on this bug.

    Best regards

    T.
