Our organization uses Teams for video conferencing and etc. Every time someone sends a message in Teams, I get an email. This fills up my mailbox and also makes it hard to find emails that are important.

Does anyone know how to stop teams from sending emails to me?

Thank you in advance.

    Hi Ezra,

Thanks for your post on the community forum. I'm Nik, an independent advisor here to assist you with this.

As per the description, I understand that you want to stop the email notifications from Teams. If so, you could turn off email notifications by these steps:

Select profile pic icon > select Settings > Notifications > Email sectio, Turn off "Missed activity emails".

Now, manually restart the app by right-clicking the icon in your taskbar (Windows) and selecting Quit. Click the app icon to open it again.

Please let me know the outcome, and I'll further look into this.

    Regards

    Nik

I had the same issue, students make lots of comments on the document I created. I still received emails after switching off Missed activity emails. However, I went back to my Outlook Inbox to check the reminder email from Teams, I saw this. Do you see the same thing at the bottom of the reminder email you received from Teams? Click on the Notifications Settings.

And then you can change your settings on OneDrive.

I am still receiving them for each chat message. Although I have turned them off. As others have said, I don't need this many useless e-mails.
