Disabling Windows Quiet Hours

Hi guys, I wanted to ask a question regarding a setting in Microsoft Teams. My Teams desktop app always displays that Windows Quiet Hours is enabled. With this setting enabled, I can't get any notifications regarding any messages or calls. I tried to look into my Teams settings but there is nothing affiliated with Windows Quiet Hours. I want to disable this setting but I can't get any clue on how to disable it. Also, I use Teams on Windows 8.1.

Exact statement displayed by Teams on the top of the app:

"Windows Quiet Hours is enabled, so you won't get notifications for calls and messages in Teams."

Does anyone know how to disable it? Any assistance on this at the earliest is highly appreciated.

Hi, I'm Sergio, an Independent Advisor and Microsoft Team customer just like you, and it's a pleasure to help you.

Yiu must try one of them options.

    option number 1:

You must see this post, it is about W10, but maybe you can find some

    tracks about it:

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/tur...

    option number 2

    1. Open the Windows 8 Charms menu and tap the gear icon to open the

    Settings menu.

    1. Select "Change PC Settings" in the bottom right corner of the screen.
    2. Choose the Search and Apps tab on the left side of the screen.
    3. Select Notifications on the left side of the screen.
    4. Scroll down to the Quiet Hours section and choose the times you

want the function to turn on and off. When you back out of the menu, your settings will automatically be saved.

    Option number 3

you must registry in the windows registry this key:

    Registry Hive: HKEY_CURRENT_USER

    Registry Path: SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\QuietHours

    Value Name: Enable

    Value Type: REG_DWORD

    Enabled Value: 0

    Disabled Value: 1

    Greetings.

    Hi Sergio

Firstly, thanks for your assistance. Very much appreciated! Option 2 worked out pretty well for me and I can receive calls and notifications on Teams now.

    Hi SergioA2020

I use windows 8.1 and MS Team and I also get message "Windows Quiet Hours is enabled. With this setting enabled, I can't get any notifications regarding any messages or calls" on the Ms Team. I try to set 'Windows Quiet Hours" is off like option #2 as above. I uninstall Ms Team and I download mS Team app from Microsoft website. But problem is not resolve, I still get same messsage. "Windows Quiet Hours is enabled. With this setting enabled, I can't get any notifications regarding any messages or calls".
