Chat/teams in iOS on ipad

A weird glitch this past week or so, using the iOS app on ios18, iPad, I click the chat icon, I briefly see the list of chats

But then it slides to Teams, and every time I click the Chat App, it opens teams lists after a brief flash of the chats

I’ve removed app, updated it, logged out, but it keeps happening

It’s fine on the phone iOS though

    It seems like this issue might be related to a system error or a conflict between the apps on your iPad. I checked on my end, there is can't find anything related to this issue.

    1. Sometimes, clearing the cache and data for the affected apps can help. Go to Settings > General > iPad Storage, select the app, and choose Offload App or Delete App. Then, reinstall the app.
    2. Ensure both the Chat and Teams apps are updated to their latest versions. Sometimes, updates include bug fixes that can resolve these kinds of issues.
    3. A simple restart can sometimes fix minor software glitches. Hold down the power button and slide to power off, then turn it back on.
    4. Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. This will reset your Wi-Fi networks and passwords, cellular settings, and VPN and APN settings.
    5. Make sure both apps have the necessary permissions enabled. Go to Settings > Chat/Teams > Permissions, and ensure permissions like Camera, Notifications, and Background App Refresh are enabled.
