Hi Kate,
Thank you for reaching out. My name is Furkaan, a user just like you. I’d be happy to help you with your concerns. Upgrading Microsoft Teams can sometimes disrupt previously working integrations. Here are a few things you can try to get your Teams calendar syncing with Google Agenda again:
Check Connection and Permissions:
Microsoft Teams: Open Teams and go to Settings > Calendar. Verify that your Google account is still connected. If not, click "Connect" to re-establish the link.
Refresh and Re-sync:
Google Calendar: Sometimes a simple refresh can fix syncing issues. Close and reopen the Google Agenda app on your iPhone. Microsoft Teams: Try signing out of Teams completely, then signing back in. This can sometimes reset any temporary glitches.
Manually Sync (One-Time):
While Microsoft Teams doesn't offer direct two-way sync with Google Calendar, you can achieve a one-way sync from Teams to Google Calendar. Here's how:
Get the ICS URL: In the Teams desktop app, go to Calendar and find the specific calendar you want to sync (e.g., your main Teams calendar). Right-click and choose "Calendar permissions" > "Publish calendar." Copy the iCal (.ics) URL. Import to Google Calendar: Open Google Calendar on your web browser. Go to Settings and navigate to "Import & export." Choose "Import" and select the option to import from a URL. Paste the copied ICS URL you obtained from Teams and click "Import."
Reinstall Microsoft Teams (Last Resort):
If none of the above work, try reinstalling Microsoft Teams on your Mac. This can ensure you have the latest version and resolve any underlying installation issues.
