Hello!

When I turn on my Do not disturb in Teams, I still receive notifications. Is there anyway to turn off notifications? I do not have a priority list set up.

I have switched to Do Not Disturb Status but I still hear the notifications. I have also tried to mess with the settings but nothing works.

I am on Windows 11.

    Dear Shay May,

    Good day!

Thanks for posting to this community.

Based on your description, I understand you still hear the notifications while your status is Do not disturb status in Teams.

Upon tests on my end, I'm not capable to reproduce the same issue. So would you please kindly share with us more information about this scenario to narrow down the scope of question?

    • Would you please kindly go to Teams on the web and check if the same issue occurs? Please also tell us if the web url is teams.microsoft.com or teams.live.com after signing in.
    • Would you please also tell us if there are multiple accounts added to your Teams client? If yes, please kindly check if other accounts' status is also set to Do not disturb.
    • May I please know is you have attempted to reset the app or delete the cache files and check the results? Kindly refer to Clear Teams cache - Microsoft Teams | Microsoft Learn

Meanwhile, you may also try to turn on Do Not Disturb in Windows settings as a temporary workaround. For your reference: Notifications and Do Not Disturb in Windows - Microsoft Support

Please understand that our initial response may not always resolve the issue immediately. However, with your help and more detailed information, we can work together to find a solution.

Thank you in advance for your understanding! Your patience and cooperation will be greatly appreciated. I hope all the best!
