Ask copilot a question a teams that references chats by name. For example, "Summarize yesterdays comments on the cart process from this weeks New Commerce Site chat".

Asking general questions that include referencing a 'named' chat in Teams, it cannot find any reference and returns no results. Of course I can go to a chat directly and ask questions. How do I get copilot to recognize specific chats by name? I also ask other questions like give me the last comment from each of my pinned chats. It seems the general copilot window cannot do these things.

    Dear Ron Stamm,

    Good day.

Per the description you have shared, your query is related to our copilot Team. It will be best if you reach out to them so you can be assisted accurately.

Please contact them via Copilot for Microsoft 365 - Microsoft Community Hub.

after testing from my end, i am facing the same issue so, it may not be possible as Copilot is designed to provide general assistance and may not have access to specific chat histories. However, i suggest to double check with the dedicated team.

For other concerns, please do not hesitate to add you post in the Microsoft Community Team. Thank you for choosing Microsoft as your partner in business.

    Sincerely

    Eben | Microsoft Community Moderator
