Can another colleague not distribute a page if I created the one note?

Hi,

I'm going on maternity in a couple of weeks, so have shared all of my one notes to my maternity cover. He is able to see the one notes and can create his own sections/ pages, but he cannot distribute any of these to the pupils. It says "report" problem. We do not want to create new one notes under his name, as this would be disruptive.

Many thanks,

Yasmin

    Dear Yasmin Palmer,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. I am happy to help you.

I have done some tests here, and I really can't directly meet your needs at the moment.

According to my tests, the distribution page currently depends mainly on the creator of the notebook, and if you share the notebook, the shared user really can't distribute the notes, which may be a flaw in the design. I apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

I completely agree with you, this is indeed a great addition to the current functionality of OneNote, thanks for pointing this out. Microsoft is constantly working to improve the functionality of its O365 products, and such suggestions are greatly appreciated. You can go tothe feedback community to create a new entry or vote for it.

The reason I ask you to submit feedback in the feedback forum is that Microsoft developers are constantly watching the comments in this forum, and only they have the permission and resources to extend the functionality of the app, which I also hope to see in the near future

    Sincerely,
