The new teams app doesn't show statuses colored in dark mode

The new teams app doesn't show statuses colored in dark mode. It looks like everybody is online. Please advise.

    I'm sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with the status colors in the new Microsoft Teams application while using dark mode. Are you using the Microsoft Teams app on a Windows PC? MAC? iOS? Or Android?

    Kindly check if there's a pending app update for Microsoft Teams by following the steps below:

    1. Open the new Microsoft Teams app
    2. Click on 3 dots > Settings
    3. Go to About Teams to see if there's an available update

    If there's no update showing, try to switch the Theme to Light, and then back to Dark to see if the same issue occurs:

    • Open new MS Teams app
    • Click on 3 dots > Settings
    • Go to Appearance and accessibility
    • Change Theme to Classic or Light
    • Switch it back to Dark Theme afterward
