Why is the language on my slides unreadable when I am presenting in PowerPoint Live? My team and I have presented this PPT file hundreds of times already this year, but suddenly this week the language looks totally wrong when on the presentation screen. The preview slides look normal, so why is this happening now?

    Hello Cheryl,

My name is EngineTyme, an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you and I would be glad to help you.

I understand that the language on your slides is unreadable when I am presenting in PowerPoint Live

Please provide answers to the following scoping questions:

    1. Do you mean the quality of display of the language was bad during the presentation?
    2. Did the language changed to other languages during presentation?
    3. Do you have a stable internet during the PowerPoint live?
    4. Is the fonts used in your presentation compatible with the device or the platform of presentation?

Please let me know if you have any questions or concern.

    Best regards, EngineTyme.

Thanks! I think we've pinpointed this as a font compatibility issue, because changing the fonts from a less common one to Gill Sans MT seems to have eliminated the problem and the text is completely showing up now. For future use cases, is there a list somewhere of compatible fonts for PowerPoint Live?

    Hello,

    Thanks for your response.

There are no list of compatible Fonts, you can just select the text and check if it will be suitable for presentation before the live presentation.

    Best regards, EngineTyme.
