When will you add read-only access to microsoft planner?

Without being able to restrict access to view only to a board or ticket. I cannot use planner in teams the chance of people moving or completing or deleting things they shouldn't including the entire plan that could contain a years worth of work for a lot of people are too risky. Shame it looks like a nice tool.

Limited access within Teams: If you're using Planner within Microsoft Teams, you can restrict access to the entire Team itself. This isn't ideal, but it prevents unwanted edits to the Planner board. Power BI reports: You can export your Planner data to Power BI and create read-only reports for users who only need to view information. SharePoint list integration: Consider syncing your Planner board with a SharePoint list and setting read-only permissions on the SharePoint list. These are workarounds, and they might not be ideal for every situation. Hopefully, Microsoft will consider adding read-only permissions in the future.
