How can I block spam calls?

Hi,

I am receiving plenty of spam calls on Teams. I have the setting for "Block calls with no caller ID" ticked on, but I still receive 3-5 spam calls a day from random numbers. Each time it is a different number so I can't even just block those specific numbers.

I do not want anyone outside of my organization calling me.

    Dealing with spam calls can be frustrating, but there are several steps you can take to block them effectively. Please try the below steps:

    1. Teams has a "Do Not Disturb" mode that you can activate to prevent incoming calls from disturbing you. In this mode, calls will go directly to voicemail, and you won't receive notifications for them. You can enable Do Not Disturb mode by clicking on your profile picture in Teams, selecting "Settings," and then navigating to the "Notifications" section.

    1. In Teams, you can customize your privacy settings to restrict incoming calls. To access these settings, click on your profile picture, select "Settings," and go to the "Privacy" section. Here, you can choose to receive calls from either everyone, contacts only, or nobody.
    2. Although you mentioned that the spam calls come from different numbers each time, if you notice patterns or repeated calls from specific numbers, you can manually block them. When you receive a call, right-click on the number in the call history, and select "Block." This will prevent future calls from that particular number.

    Thanks for your reply.

    1. Do Not Disturb mode won't really work as I still need to receive call and messages from my contacts.
    2. I do not see the option to receive calls only from contacts. I've attached a screenshot. The only option I see about this is the one regarding blocking calls with no caller ID, which is selected, but does not appear to be working.

    1. As I said, it's a different number every time. Blocking every call is just extra work that won't help.

    Is there another way?
