One of my previous coworkers is a source of stress for me. Being able to block them would provide some much needed peace of mind.

    Hi Mlsterben,

Thank you for reaching out. My name is Furkaan, a user just like you. I’d be happy to help you with your concerns. Unfortunately, there currently isn't a way to completely block users within your organisation on Microsoft Teams. Blocking functionality exists for external contacts, but not for colleagues.

However, there are a couple of workarounds that might help:

Mute and Hide: In a specific chat with the person, you can use the mute and hide options. Mute will silence notifications for their messages, and Hide will remove the chat from your view (though it will reappear if they send another message).

Report to Admin/HR: If the co worker's behaviour is causing significant stress and impacting your work, consider reporting it to your Teams administrator or HR department. They can investigate the situation and take appropriate action.

If you have any additional questions or concerns, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Give back to the Community. Help the next person who has this issue by indicating if this reply solved your problem. Click Yes or No below. Best Regards, Furkaan
