Are you using a Mac? Mac has a built in portrait mode that will blur the background. If you click on the green video camera icon in the top bar when your webcam is running, you can check if Portrait mode is running and turn it off.
Blurry background will not go away.
The blur in teams for background will not turn off; this is occurring in both new and old versions. I have cleared the cache twice, it doesn't change anything. I can change between backgrounds and it works accordingly, but when I select none, it stays blurry.

I am sorry to hear that you’re having trouble with the background blur in Microsoft Teams. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve this issue:
- Check Your Teams Version: Make sure you’re running on Microsoft Teams (work or school) version 1.6.00.12303 or higher.
- Sign Out and Restart Your Computer: Sign out of your Teams account and restart your computer. Then sign back in and update Teams.
- Check for Updates: Click on your profile picture in Teams and select Check for updates.

2024-04-13T08:23:46+00:00 I had the same but found that the problem was my own integrated camera settings on my laptop.
Go to manage camera - integrated camera - camera privacy settings - camera device settings - integrated camera -
Switch off background blur.

I just experienced the same issue for a customer, and her setting was already OFF. We toggled it to ON, then back to OFF, and it became clear again!
HTH someone out there.
