Hello,

I am aware of Version History but not too sure how it looks if a specific scenario occurs.

  1. Is it possible to know if the student has edited the assignment after they have submitted?
  2. Is it possible to know if students have edited the assignment after I have returned it?

Thanks

    Hello

I’m Adeyemi and I’d be happy to help you with your question.

    1. Is it possible to know if the student has edited the assignment after they have submitted? Yes, it is possible. Students can modify the assignment even if they do not click the "Undo Turn-in" button. This means students can modify the assignment after it is turned-in but before it is graded. If a student made changes to the assignment, their name will be emboldened even if you already graded their assignment https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msteams/forum/all/why-can-student-make-changes-to-teams-assignment/fa1a6c36-1b2f-46f8-bf29-9a46d2bd1eff.
    2. Is it possible to know if students have edited the assignment after I have returned it? Yes, it is possible. When you return an assignment for revision, the student's assignment will be in your Returned list and their status will update to Needs revision. The student will also receive a notification of your revision request and will be able to turn in their assignment again after making edits. If a student made changes to the assignment, their name will be emboldened https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/check-to-see-if-students-have-edited-an-assignment-667c0571-d779-4ea3-9f63-eeae3fc4801a.

    I hope this helps
