It is possible to use Turnitin with Microsoft Teams to check for plagiarism in student assignments. To get started, you need to navigate to a class team and select Assignments. Then select Create, followed by Assignment. Next, fill in your assignment details and toggle the Turnitin option to Yes. Once you have done this, select Assign.

When students open the assignment, they will see that Turnitin will check the work they submit. After submitting their work, their Turnitin score will appear in the assignment details. You can see the Turnitin results in the grading view for each assignment. This view includes the similarity score, which will tell you how closely the student’s work matches other sources in the Turnitin database.

It is important to note that a Turnitin license is required to use the integration with Assignments in Teams. IT Admins can sign up to enable the integration if you have a Turnitin subscription.
