I can't create a team (class type) even though I'm an organization user

My organization checked my account and found no problem, no restrictions, but I still can't access it. Can you help me? I need it for teaching students in the next few days.

I've done the following and still can't access it.

  • I logged out and logged in again.
  • I uninstalled the program and reinstalled it.

Thank you very much.

    Dear PS_1818,

Good day to you and thanks for your post in Microsoft Community. I'm sorry for the inconvenience you've encountered. To better assist you, could you please provide more details such as:

    • Which platform do you use? Desktop or web app?
    • Would you mind giving a screenshot about your issue? I want to clarify that if you do not have a button for class or have it but grey.
    • About creating team, could you create a basic team normally?
    • Did the issue happen before? It means you created a team class before but now you cannot.
    • Does someone in your site have the same issue?
    • What is your license linked to your account?
    • Does your tenant allow users to create Office 365 groups?

Once again, I sincerely apologize for the unpleasant experience. I look forward to your information and if you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to me - I’ll be happy to assist you. Wishing you a wonderful day.

    Best regards,

Daniel Vo - MSFT | Microsoft Community Support Specialist.

    Dear PS_1818,

Good day to you and thanks for your post in Microsoft Community. I'm sorry for the inconvenience you've encountered.

Thank you for your information. I apologize for the late response. After investing documents, I would like to make the following clarification:

    • Refer to this reference Get started in your class team - Microsoft Support: "Not seeing the option to create a team? Contact your IT Admin to make sure you have the proper permissions."
    • So, I recommend you contact your IT of your school again and tell them to check it deeply. If need, please tell them to remove you out the tenant and then re-add.
