Restoring a deleted student in Microsoft Teams and their assessments involves a few steps. Here's a general guide to help you:

    1. Restore the Student in Teams:

If the deletion was recent,Microsoft Teams retainsdeleted items for a period(usually 30 days). You canrestore the student by goingto the admin center andnavigating to the deleted userssection to recover their account.

    • Go to the Microsoft 365 admin center.
      • Navigate to the "Deleted users" section.
      • Restore the student's account (if within the retention period, usually 30 days).
    1. Recover Assignments:

For assignments, you canrecover student work froma deleted assignment inMicrosoft Teams by going tothe 'Files' tab in the generalchannel, clicking on 'Open inSharePoint', then navigatingto 'Site contents' and 'Studentwork'. From there, you can findthe submitted files folder forthe student and recover the necessary files.

    • Go to the Teams channel where the assignment was submitted.
      • Click on the "Files" tab.
      • Click "Open in SharePoint".
      • Navigate to "Site contents" > "Student work".
      • Find the submitted files folder for the student and recover the necessary files.
    1. Restore Assessment Data:

To restore removed student responses in assessments, access the 'Advanced Settings' icon in the assessment, go to the 'Advanced' tab, and click on 'Restore Removed Student Responses.

    • Access the assessment in Microsoft Teams.
      • Click on the "Advanced Settings" icon (three dots or a gear icon).
      • Go to the "Advanced" tab.
      • Click on "Restore Removed Student Responses".

Let me know if you need more help.

    Regards, Eunice
