Cannot Download Files from OneDrive Tab in New Microsoft Teams

We have one user experiencing an issue where he tries to download a file from our OneDrive structure in teams and nothing happens. No pop up, spinning wheel or anything. I enable always ask where to save downloaded files and no pop up comes up. Reinstalled teams, reset the app, cleared the cache. Classic teams and web version work perfectly fine...

    • Kindly confirm if this issue only with files shared in Teams channel?
    • What about files shared in one-to-one chats?
    • What is the current version of Teams desktop app?

    Yes - this issue has only been with files in the OneDrive tab. Everything else is working correctly. This is the newest version downloaded off of teams website and updated.

A support Engineer can further connect with you remotely, for further troubleshooting and involve the backend team where need be. The team might request for your public IP address or collect certain detailed logs information with more technical resources.
