I still have my teams from my old job, but I'm not a "member" of any teams?so I can't remove myself from anything. I don't want these old teams on my account as they just take up space on my side bar. How do I actually delete the team?

    Hello Sarah, this is Emily.

Go to https://myapplications.microsoft.com, sign into your account.

Once in, on the upper left, click on the upside down arrow and click on My account.

Then on the left, click on "organization". Find the old job (organization), and click on Leave.

    ==================

I am not sure if you are using a personal Microsoft account or business account to sign into Teams. If you are using a personal account, you will need to switch to the new Teams free version after you removed yourself from the old job.

You can download it from here: https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-teams/download-app#for-desktop  Sroll down a bit and download the Teams for home or small business on the left.

    Hi Sarah,

I'm Amro, a fellow Microsoft user and I’m happy to look into this for you.

Go to a team name, and select More options More options icon> Hide.

so they no longer appear on the sidebar

I hope this helps, please feel free to reply to this if you need any further Assistance.

    Hello,

I don't have any "teams" listed under the team option, but I still see all the old posts under activity, and both networks are still accessible, although I can't see anything new. I was to delete the networks I suppose, as I don't have access to any of the "teams" and have no need to be? There's no option to hide those from what I can see?

    Hello again Sarah,

    Thanks for the explanation.

Do you already signed for a new account? Or you have only this account? Then it's about Teams Business App, right?

Kindly Also go to https://myaccount.microsoft.com/organizations And leave all unwanted organizations.

Here you can find the full details: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/active-....

After this clear the cache as per the Advice here: https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsof...

I hope this helps, please feel free to reply to this if you need any further Assistance.

    Kindly

    Amro
