How to sync MS Teams on MacOS Ventura with Google calendar?

I have MS Teams latest version on MacOS Ventura, latest version. Teams will not sync to Google calendar through the app or on the web Teams version. The Google Calendar has given permission for Teams to access it.

I have deleted the Teams cache, reinstalled Teams, and updated Teams.

I have reached out to MS support and they cannot help me.

Suggestions to get Teams to sync to the Google calendar will be appreciated.

    Hello Alan,

    • Check if your Google calendar is set as the default calendar in Teams. To do this, go to Settings > Calendar > Default calendar and select Google.
    • If your Google calendar is already the default, try removing and re-adding it in Teams. To do this, go to Settings > Calendar > Manage calendars and uncheck Google. Then check it again and wait for the sync to complete.
    • If the sync is still not working, try using a third-party app like Zapier or Automate.io to connect Teams and Google calendar. These apps can create workflows that trigger actions based on events in either platform. For example, you can create a workflow that creates a Teams meeting whenever you add an event to Google calendar, or vice versa.

    Hope this helps,

    Fathia A
