What is the lore behind the Teams Monkey?

On Microsoft Teams there is only one emoji that has a specific dance from what i can tell and its a little monkey. In previous versions to my understanding he was the only motion emoji. He is perfect in everyway.

But that does make me wonder, why a monkey? Does he have a name? Maybe a backstory as to why he was the chosen one? When googling this i get next to no answers and get redirected to every animated show about monkeys ever- and i just want the Teams monkey lore.

Who made the call to have this monkey do a little dance because they need a raise and a pat on the back for making teams a little bit more fun.
