New teams does not let me modify the background anymore! This must be fixed urgently!

Dear ladies and gentlemen,

I am using a MS Pro7 Notbook with the most recent Windows software. The new teams does not apply other backgrounds (only the soft-focus works) in videoconferences - same for all my collegues. Other backgrounds I can select, but they are simply not applied.

As we use this commercially for our company, this is not a small issue. We need to have our own company backgrounds. So far it luckily still works with the old team version. But this needs to be fixed immediately, otherwise we are forced to change our platform for customer meetings!

    I'm AnnaThomas and I'd happily help you with your question. In this Forum, we are Microsoft consumers just like yourself.

    This must be due to the new Teams as you pointed out. You can try updating Teams to the latest version and if that doesn't work, you can give feedback to the Teams developer about the issue
