Autosave did not work

I worked on my Mac (Ventura 13.4.1) and a Word Document located in a Teams folder yesterday. Turns out that the autosave did not work the last few hours. When I opened the doc today I was told it was not possible to save it.
I tried in vain to give it a new name. I tried to copy paste it in a new doc. And then restarted the mac.
Still: The last few hours of yesterdays work has disappeared.
I cannot find the version in the history list and have tried to look in the auto recovery folder.
Have looked through the Sharepoint history as well. Also in vain.
Any other suggestions?
Kind of loose my trust in Teams.
