    Hello Shahid,

My name is EngineTyme, an Independent Advisor and a Microsoft user like you and I would be glad to help you.

It appears you are concerned about Turnitin and whether it can detect similarities between your deleted assignment and your subsequent submissions. Let’s address this:

When you delete an assignment submission, it is typically removed from the assignment inbox, and the Similarity Report associated with it is also deleted. However, Turnitin does not retain a record of deleted submissions for comparison purposes. In other words, once you delete a submission, it won’t be used for future similarity checks.

Turnitin focuses on comparing submissions against existing content in its database (including other students’ work, published articles, etc.). If you’ve deleted a submission, it won’t be part of this comparison process. If you’re using Teams, Turnitin will analyze your submitted assignments regardless of whether you’re using Office 365 or another word processing tool.

Office 365 and Turnitin are separate tools, but they can work together. Turnitin is often integrated into learning management systems (like Teams or Blackboard), and it analyzes submitted content.
