I have Microsoft 365 personal subscription and I have a work one. The two had been linked in connected experiences which I have now removed. I have removed all elements of my work account from my personal account.

Every time I look try to use Copilot in Loop, it keeps telling me that I can’t because it’s restricted because of my IT (I assume my company one).

I want you to painstaking task of disconnecting all of my work and personal Microsoft items and have gotten nowhere.

I am in Australia. I’m not on any early preview version of it just will not work.

Has anybody experienced this or have any solutions that may provide me ?

Dear Tom lost in the loop,

    Welcome to the Microsoft Community.

Based on the information you've shared, I understand that your Copilot is currently not available in Loop, which may have caused you some inconvenience, and I understand your frustration.

First of all I would like to confirm with you whether you are currently using Copilot or Copilot pro?

When using Copilot in the Loop, if you are using a personal Microsoft account, you need a Copilot Pro license.

Your Copliot license can be used in a corporate account. You can refer to this article for more information: Frequently asked questions about Copilot in Loop - Microsoft Support

    • If you don't fit the above, I'd like to talk to you a little bit more about it: Is there some kind of error message when you try to use Copilot?
    • Can you use Copilot if you are logged into your work account?

If there is any progress, please feel free to contact us.

Thank you for your understanding and patience.

Best wishes Isabella-MSFT | Microsoft Community Support Specialist

    Hi,

Thanks for your reply. I have copilot pro and it won’t work on my personal account. I assumed it was due to the connected experiences feature as it was linking my personal account withmy Work account.

I think work would have already banned copilot as they are still assessing AI in the workplace.
