Microsoft Loop using different outlook email addresses

I did start at work with my Business account and I found I liked Loop. I soon found out it was not available to cross 365 home and 365 business loops. I could though invite family to join loop workspaces using my home account.

I then started a workspace using my home 365 account and it began well. My family began contributing and interacting. I visited the workspace again and my membership to the workspace as well as my wife's membership changed from the email of my 365 accounts to arbitrary outlook email accounts both for me and my wife. Now I can't tag my wife and other members can't tag me in their comments. I check my log on an it has my correct email for the 365 account but the workspace has me under a different email (outlook.1asdf3456 or something similar). How did this happen? It was great for a day then now we can't interact. I looked to see if I could manage the memberships but there is nothing.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Hi, Sparrowhawk316-work

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

Based on your description, it appears that you invited your family members to join the Loop workspace using your 365 account.

You then changed the email for the 365 account to whatever Outlook email account you and your wife have, and now you and your family members can't seem to tag each other.

Is the tagging you are referring to a designated symbol tag for certain information?

    Like this:

And what is the position of your business account in the invitation?

We tested it and found that the workspace created with a personal account does not have these tagging functions.

We are wondering whether this workspace has become a personal workspace after your business account left or the creator left and it cannot be tagged.

Waiting for your recovery and more information, as well as some permissions for workspaces, you can refer to some Microsoft help, there is more information:Overview of Loop workspaces storage and permissions | Microsoft Learn
